…………..My list in no particular order………………The 2010 Ford Taurus SHO…………..The 73' Buick Riviera with the boat tail roof………….A 1/25 64' and 1/2 Ford Mustang (any body style). A newly tooled version would be an improvement over the back dated eighties 66' Mustang convertible Monogram has released at various times……………The (forgotten) 74-78 Mustang. It may have had only four cylinders and suggested a Ford Pinto on roids, but it was a Mustang. Since the AMT annual was way to over simplified and MPC turned their's into a pro street it is hole in many Mustang collections. It is time to do a new tool…………….The 73'-78' Chevy Impala coupe/convertible was among the last full size GM products. There is an MPC 76' annual which many of us have bought for trailer; not the soft on detail Impala. It would be great if Revell could do one with all of the detail of their 66' Impala…………The Carbon Motors E7 would be a good light commercial subject with its police warning lights built into the roof line, chassis mounted push bars and enough high tech gear in the dashboard to make the Knight 2000 look like a Yugo…………….The new (Dark Knight) Batmobile in 1/25th scale……………A 2010-11 Ford and/or Chevy full size vans. They would be perfect for light commercial subjects…………..The 1941 Chavy van/Suburban. Given the extra door handle in their 41' pickup kit Revell must have thought of it already.

No longer known as the Aviator, this Mazda 6 based Lincoln is now called the MKX. Read about it here.
Lincoln is hoping that, together with the new Zephyr sedan, the MKX will entice younger and hipper buyers into its showrooms, which have been lacking anything youthful or stylish for quite some time. Based on Mazda 6 architecture, the MKX uses the same 3.5 V-6 and front- or all-wheel drive components as the similar Ford Edge, but offers swiveling headlights and other luxuries not available on the Ford. When it goes on sale in the fall of 2006, this handsome crossover will be the first production model to follow Lincoln’s new naming convention, which ditches familiar names like Aviator and Continental in favor of generic letter combinations. Hey, didn’t every other luxury brand start doing that last decade?

Ann Arbor – Our founder and editor emeritus, David E. Davis, Jr., had a new idea for the Toyota Tundra pickup truck we added to our Four Seasons test fleet in late 1999. He would send it to northern Michigan for use as a real live workhorse at Red’s Bog, his idyllic retreat on the west side of the state. His ranch foreman, Jerry Keie, would have charge of Toyota’s big new truck and keep notes from a real working man’s perspective.

America’s best selling convertible, the Chrysler Sebring, has been redesigned for 2008. Among its new features is a retractable steel hard top.
Significance: No, it isn’t the cutest convertible on the market, but at least it’s got some cool features. But the heated cup holders and a music-holding hard drive pale in comparison to the top options: vinyl, cloth, and steel are all available.
